    I keep seeing an X or V or partial W. The crossbar on the baseline isn't going to read like an H, in my opinion. The backward leaning type feels uncomfortable, at least in this context.

    Hey Dave, thanks for the thoughts. The rebound I posted is the "W" in the next word. I'm trying to come up with a solution without over complicating the shapes. I guess looking at it again, I start to see the reversal of the original looking like a cursive started "H" if that makes sense, but i'm not sure what else to try.
