I'll be rescuing this big beautiful Chandler and Price 12x18 New Series press from being sold for scrap this weekend ... hopefully. I've got this week to scramble all the equipment needed together (trailer, vehicle strong enough to tow it, tools, jack/hoist, tie-downs, team of willing friends, etc.). It's going to be crazy, and I'm still nailing down a place to store it since it won't fit in my little 2-bedroom townhouse.

I just can't let 'er go to waste, however. I'm so excited, I had to share! :)

Good luck! I had a letterpress I could have bought but the guy sold it before I could manage to wrangle up a trailer. Sad life. I'm jealous! If you lived in SLC I'd say you could store it in my garage! ;)
That'll be fun! I'm excited for you!

I have until Saturday, so I'm going to probably rent a U-Haul trailer. It's finding a friend with a vehicle that can tow all 2500lbs of the beast that will be a challenge ...

Good luck. The C&P's are a beast to move but they are great presses and last forever.
