Very visually interesting. Just curious what this would look like, did you try removing the interior box lines so it's just the letter shapes inside the boxes? The box shapes may be enough to indicate the 3D factor.

good point...did play around with that idea at the time, and wasn't as pleased with the outcome...although I was so green (no pun intended) that maybe I would prefer that now! HA!
