nEWGAZE Music Logo Animation

Took me a while to finish the animation but I was really happy with how this project came out and wanted to share. This website was commissioned for a client who wanted a platform to write about the various types of music she listens to inspired by the music genre 'shoegazing'.

The logo was inspired by 90s punk and alternative rock material. The logo is repeated and overlapped 3 times using cyan, magenta, and yellow to naturally form the logo in black. Every time the site is interacted with the logo is shifted in and out of focus, which represents the blurring of lines between various genres of music that are produced and listened to today.
