The Desktop icon is very OS X orientated, I don't know how many of your users are on Windows, but maybe a glyph of a monitor or laptop may show a 'desktop' more clearly to more people.
Nice dude ;)
looks great, but I agree with Robbie on the desktop icons.. it just doesn't say "desktop" to non-OSX users..
Looks great dude!
I instantly knew what the switch would do without seeing the title of the shot, nice job!
Beautiful and very crisp.
@Robie @Jan, who gives an Ef about those windows users? Love it.
@Mantas Wait! What about Linux? :P
I'm definitely onboard with everyone else, though—this is a really elegant way of toggling between a desktop and mobile view.
Really loving the subtle gradients and shadows on the toggles. I agree with @Robbie though about the icon. Even just removing the circles that represent the dock may be enough.
I look forward to more of this.
Perhaps instead of the Mac desktop icon, you could use a glyph of a screen with a small stand. Nothing screams desktop more than that. It's also completely universal.
Despite the marketshare of the Mac OS X, I'd say its mindshare is pretty high — aaand, the Windows task bar looks like a flush dock these days, I doubt recognizability will be a problem.
This looks fantastic. Like butter

Took all of your comments into consideration. Much prefer this :) Thanks guys.
I'm set on keeping the actual switch rather muted, with the emphasis on the result of the switch, rather than the actual act of switching.
