    This morning I started connecting some of the dots and got Mimeo running and jumping around a 2-bit level that spans multiple screens. The camera is smart enough to frame the level so you can see further ahead in the direction Mimeo is facing (rather than sticking him smack dab in the middle) and smoothly transition when changing direction.

    Physics are still really primitive and the controls take some getting used to but it's shaping up.

    The best part, the buggy code in this shot has already been replaced. Turns out the camera wasn't so smart. Like a fly in pink and gray amber.
