Haha, almost. First I started with some noise, then drew a ton of random artifacts and fibers in Illustrator and dragged to Photoshop.

Looks nice; geometric forms on the [mic?] feel a little out of place aside the smooth, flowing letterforms, but very nice overall. Nice texture, by the way :)

Line endings (and straight / plain position) of the mark doesn't go well with the font, imho. It could be better if both of them could be in similar style. Also all the letters are connected besides b-l, maybe a good move would be to connect them. Just my two cents.

Is it a mic? A person? A slingshot? I'm so intrigued. It's beautiful, but I wish the edges on the 'prongs' or 'arms' of the dealio were a little smoother, to match the rest of it. Good work!

No problem. It might just look smaller because there is more weight on the left side due to the B and the L.
