ABC Insects of the Pacific Northwest Print

An ABC alphabet print of Insects found in the Pacific Northwest. All artwork was originally created in watercolor and ink, and extensively researched by me, Jenna Lechner.

Print features 26 insects, and includes: Monarch Butterfly, Common Green Darner, Fender's Blue Butterfly, Western Tiger Swallowtail Butterfly, Praying Mantis, Vivid Dancer Damselfly, & more. The emphasis on this poster is helpful garden buddies, although I did include one potential, relatively minor garden "pest" - the Rhododendron Leafhopper, which is a distinct sight in the Pacific Northwest.

This image was printed as a high-quality Giclee print: printed on archival, matte paper, which is a smooth, neutral-white, acid-free, hot press paper, and offers a lot of detail! Image is both designed and printed in the USA: in Portland, Oregon!

This project was funded in part by the Regional Arts & Culture Council, via an Arts 3c grant. I partnered with the brilliant entomologist Dr. Gail Langellotto, at Oregon State University, who generously agreed to fact check the visuals of this poster, and suggested a number of insects that are featured on this image. Product photograph was taken by Andreia Claro.

The giclee print is available for sale here:

This is a great gift for a biologist, an entomologist, a naturalist, a child's room, or just for those who love the outdoors!
