Wow! That looks really amazing — way to take a super stuffy subject and make it feel friendly and calm. Very nicely done.
I have a couple of tiny critiques: The color of the cross-hatched line up by "Guide Contents" feels a bit strong. What if the color was more like the line under "My Tax Debt Guide"?
Also, the left column has 3 kinds of horizontal rules — maybe make the bottom one (just above the chapter navigation) the same as the one at the top of that column.
