   i like the nice neon glow around the circle. i agree on the colors. i think the purple is not really helping out.

   subtlepatterns are also your weapon of choice i see :)

   I'm not sure about the colors, I think I like the overall look, though there might be room for improvement. I feel like the colors around the badge are more the problem than the purple. Of course we are limited to say much about anything beyond the shot. But I think the glow of the headline text and the border of the top image are too dark. And the background looks like something completely different.

   Nevertheless, I think the badge is lovely!

   Though I have to admit, that I'd prefer a more clear style for the banner. The sides of the front look round and soft, while the ends of the banner in the background look sharp and straight. I think it should stick with one style: either round and soft or sharp and straight.

   But even if you keep it exactly the way it is, I wouldn't mind much, I still think it's lovely :)
