Love them textures~!
Lovin' the saucer! You've got a great 50's styling going on. Perfect color choice too. I'm always a sucker for brown and light blue.
@Gert & Patrick - Yeah baby!
@Brian - Thanks man. I was gonna make my own saucer from scratch, but then I found this mega-retro thing on an old poster so I first traced it and then made my own model based on it.
And yeah, I agree. Brown and Blue work so well together at the right tone.
Nice use of LostType fonts bro!
you gots skillz bro...
Thanks Mike, buddy!
AWESOME EMIR!!!!!!!! Love it!!!!
Thanks Nick! Can't wait to show you the whole thing... very soon :)
Really glad you like it!
A little late to this (busy week) but nice! The title typeface goes so well with the saucer and overall look. And no kidding about brown and blue here, I love the white lines in the background too. Looking forward to seeing the whole thing!
Thanks Claire! Truly appreciate your comments.
This thing is pretty much finished now, but I have to work out some practical issues before I post the whole thing. Hopefully early next week, but dunno.
It's just a side project, but I'm pretty excited about this.
(those are usually the most fun)

The concept for the poster was "A old recovered random poster from Bill's Flying Saucer Tour in a random city".
The idea was to print and sell this poster and let all the proceedings go to 'The Bill Hicks Foundation for Wildlife'.
The concept for this poster was scrapped for various reasons.
So this one won't go in to print, bit I'm gonna work out a new idea and see what I can come up with.
Figured I'd show it to you guys here on Dribbble anyway and see what you think and maybe you guys have some cool suggestions?
