Rejected icon made for a client.
I had an incredible amount of fun while making this! It was a real challenge. Making icons is hard.
I think I found the perfect balance between detail and simplicity. The icon is also clear, and shows movement/speed, in my opinion. :)

the only thing I don't like is the hockey stick facing down, I don't know shit about field hockey though, so is it the proper way?
apart from that it has a fantastic balance and a great use of white lines for separating the arms/stick/body, too bad that this was rejected :/

I think this is really good, but it seems as thought the top part of his body is very stiff. Maybe one of the arms can be bent a bit. Food for thought :)
