(Unofficial) Batman Movie Poster

For one of my final university project outcomes, I created an unofficial movie poster based on one of my favourite Batman stories, 'The Court of Owls'.

While creating a movie poster based on an existing piece of literature is nothing new, ensuring the outcome was an original idea was an important factor for me. As 'The Court of Owls' story had not yet been developed into a feature film, this left me free to create without any preconceived ideas or references. My sources of inspiration for this piece included the works of Saul Bass and propaganda posters, such as the iconic portrait of Che Guevara.
