Edición Gracias / Label Design + Illustration

23 Ríos is an award-winning Argentinian Brewery located in Mendoza. Since its birth in 2017, 23 Ríos has been committed to creating a positive impact in the community that supported them and watched them grow.

“Edición Gracias” was born to say “thanks” to people in the Mendoza community who stand out for their achievements or contributions to society.

For each tribute, a unique beer label was designed and illustrated, each one aimed at thanking a notable personality or organization from the social, artistic, educational, and humanitarian spheres of the province of Mendoza for their role in 'keeping the river flowing.' It's a recognition of their efforts, dedication, and, above all, their actions.

It was my honor to design the label template for the entire collection, as well as this specific tribute to Julián Funes, also known as "Jaff," a rapper from Mendoza, who was selected as a finalist in the 2021 Argentina's National Final of the "Red Bull Battle." He decided to fulfill his promise of traveling the 1,100 kilometers that separate Mendoza from Buenos Aires by bicycle, with no prior training or preparations. The journey was challenging, but after 15 days, he arrived in Buenos Aires and astounded us with his remarkable performance, which earned him second place in this renowned competition.
