Fast's Slowdown (Editorial Key Art)

This is animated key art created for an article discussing the performance decline of one-click checkout startup Fast. While sticking to a duotone palette, I composited photos and graphics together along with a simple animated element to create a striking visual. To communicate the concept of the story visually, a hand is shown sinking into quick sand as the phone its holding is failing to function properly. The quicksand and buffering
