Illustrator X Laser Engraver: Ski Goggles

I had been wanting to explore laser engraving and cut-outs for a while and figured starting a new project for a good friends birthday was the right excuse to start. I began by researching designs on Pinterest and Etsy before sketching my own.

I sketched out some options, jumped into Illustrator, and began stacking different silhouettes to get the outcome I wanted. Once I had the general shapes in place, it just became an exercise in figuring out which colors to use and how to paint it.

I'd like to keep exploring different designs that use this 'stacked' look just because it can be so impactful when its all put together.
