1. Blake McDivitt

   First attempt at this logo. I would really like some feedback on this. It is a logo concept for a local roofing company. The business has a lot of history, experience, and is family owned. The client wanted all of those things to be present in the logo.

   I dont get the shape, it looks like it a old style heading or tape, it just dont sit right for me as a roofing company. Also different fonts on each line, dont really work either.

   Also when I think of roofing I think of grey slate, might be because I am from North West of England, and all roofs are slate compared to brick.

   I like the general feel. Reckon you should fat up the "Roofing" so it's as wide as the "Gilford & Sons". You could maybe go with an "Established 1955" to get across the sense of history.
