Everything Everywhere All at Once is a movie was about a generational trauma and how Evelyn did not understand her daughter. Evelyn was the type of mother who was insensitive towards her daughter and did not have time to understand her.

Type and Place

As a mother, she created a "fence" or boundaries between herself and her daughter and never let her daughter Joy cross them. Every time Joy tried to cross the fence and talk to her mother about her issues, she ended up hurting herself with the pointy fence that her mother built. Therefore, the chosen text is "Mother" and Iron Fence is the place to add meaning to the type's narrative.
