Designing a consumer-ready mobile application for their public launch

Introduction

Bagboard is a new, revolutionary advertising platform that’s about to make shopping sustainably a whole lot easier and affordable. And it helps save the planet too.

Funded by Sky Ocean Ventures and Innovate UK, Bagboard advertises brand campaigns on smart, eco-friendly paper bags, replacing single-use plastic bags in London. Through their clever little app, consumers can then reuse their smart bags to generate planet-saving rewards which they can spend on sustainable products and services.

Challenge

  • Bagboard required an app-wide update to match their recent rebrand

  • Finish incomplete and design new app screens

  • Prepare and test for Bagboard’s beta launch in London

Solution

  • Creation of a new design system for the Bagboard app

  • Disassembled pre-made app screens and reassembled them using the new design elements

  • New areas of the app were designed including Marketplace, Profile, Wallet, My Bag, Challenges, Settings, and Brand Profile

  • User-flows were also created and implemented for Friend Referral, Find a Store, and Order a Bag

  • A fresh new website was designed and built on WordPress to promote the new launch

  • Printed collateral including business cards, posters, flyers, and leaflets for both B2B and B2C marketing
