   I think the red band should cover the border. A little negative top and left margin.

   Ooh nice spot john, I was focusing on the visual harmony, or dis-harmony, of the size differences. Completely missed that one.

   @John - Right up against the border or overlapping somewhat? If I go top:-2px; left:-2px; it makes it feel like it's wrapping around the box.

   Definitely overlap the border some and maybe lighten them a tad. Subtle is better :)

   @Chris maybe offset it up and left a bit so that it wraps the cover, but no the outer border/box?

   It just feels off with it not wrapping the image...
