Veeeeerrry nice, great typography. Though I'd make the white text of your name the same size as the heading, and find a way to make 'student, web developer.' more legible, it's looking a little thin. Personally I'd stick with just straight up navy, not that tile pattern, it's becoming terribly over-used in design, and I think if you kept it simple, with no drop shadows etc, just simple outlines then it'd look amazing.
Keep working on this though!
