Illustrations for the book "One Arm"

During my stay as an Erasmus student at Accademia di Belle Arti di Bologna, Italy, I followed the course of Book Illustration of Luigi Raffaelli.
The project was to illustrate the novel "One Arm" (Kataude) by Nobel Prize winning author Yasunari Kawabata, published in 1964.
There are 8 double-page illustrations, 2 suggestions for the cover and 1 illustration for the endpapers.
For the technique, I experimented with watercolors, pencil and paper collage. (Fabriano paper for watercolors)
