@Juan The subtle noise on the background ruins it? Not sure I agree. I had to bring my laptop to my face in order to see it. Maybe you are focusing on the wrong thing?
What Juan was saying is that the rupee looks really nice and you can tell effort went into it. Adding that specific type of noise layer takes little effort and doesn't match the style or the quality. There are better methods of making background noise.
It draws more attention to the background, which isn't the focus of this piece. It's funny how people are so critical of backgrounds on dribbble.
I agree on the noise complaint (har har). It would look super crisp and clear, and highlight the polished look of the actual rupee, if it were to be an un-noisy background.
...The background noice only looks too intense on a HD Screen like the 27" imac. On my Macbook Air, it looks totally fine. And yes my gamma is a bit intense as well. It's all perspective...
