So, it finally happened, my secret obsession (vintage maps) and my not-so-secret obsession (movies) have come together in one perfectly distracting design project. I am designing a map to be used in a movie as a prop. It's not a big deal, just something I never thought would happen.
46 seconds into this trailer you can see my one an only contribution to modern popular culture; a map I design as a movie prop. Admittedly it's a small accomplishment in the grand scheme of things, but Patton Oswalt is one of the funniest people on the planet and it makes me happy that he interacted with something I designed. Does that make me crazy?

Not going to lie. I have a soft spot in my heart for maps and navigation.

And since I'm doing the map side, there's gotta be a retro back-side, right?
