Carent Vehicle Rent Dashboard
A company ask for a dashboard to supervise their rented vehicles. They want to know where the borrower goes at the point, their time limit, the next borrower who will rent the car, and a quick summary of cash flow.
The page consist of several sections, which is tracking map, schedule table, and the side section where you can see the statistic and the latest orders.
Tracking Map
In this map, the company wants to track where the borrower drives their car. But they have too many cars, which is difficult if they have to check every single tag on the map.
From the condition, we provide solutions in the design.
The tag will come with various color and icon, which indicate either the rent period is still long, almost over, over time, done, or even in machine trouble.
We show the car number, so they can follow the car easily.
They can see the rent detail when they click the tab.
Schedule Board
In this section, the owner can see the overall schedule of the rent. We got insight when creating the design of this schedule board, then we apply it on the design.
Considering there will ton of schedule and it will be crowded, we choose light pastel outline color. These combinations are calm and comfortable for the users when they show a lot of schedule box.
We differentiate the color for ongoing and future booking. When the rent is started, the box will change color into bolder box, but not to bold that will exhaust the user sight. This will help the user to recognize where a new rent is started.
The order is grouped by car type. It will help in screening and searching process.
When the user clicks on the box, the tracking map will also change to referred car if still ongoing.
Statisctic and Order
The side section will provide secondary information for the user. This information is put on the side to distinguish it with the main feature. It will help the user to grasp instant insight of their business while spectating the cars.
