    Still not entirely sure about this. Maybe more weight to the headline may do it. When hovered, the green goes to full opacity

    I dig the simplicity. I think it might be worth considering adding some separation between the nav above and the featured text section - at least until the hover state is activated. Might make the hover affect of it looking connected pop even more.
