Editorial Personal Project: What We Save, Saves Us

I chose to create an illustration depicting the burning of fossil fuels and its connection to climate change because I believe in the power of visual storytelling to raise awareness and inspire action. Climate change is one of the most pressing global issues of our time, and its impact on our planet is profound and far-reaching. Fossil fuel combustion is a major contributor to greenhouse gas emissions, which are driving global warming and its associated consequences, such as rising temperatures, sea-level rise, and extreme weather events.

By creating an illustration that visually conveys the destructive effects of burning fossil fuels, I hope to communicate the urgency of transitioning to cleaner, sustainable energy sources and fostering a deeper understanding of the need for environmental conservation and climate action. Art has the ability to engage people on an emotional level, and I believe that by illustrating this critical issue, we can encourage more individuals to take responsibility for the planet's future.
