Here is a brand new MOD-icon I just completed for an amazing contemporary home in Co. Wicklow, Ireland - a coastal village about an hour south of Dublin. Given that this property was completed in 2008, it’s pretty different from the mid century modern architectural illustrations I normally do. But it still has a modernist vibe, and I think it’s really cool.

This house was designed and built by ODOS Architects to replace an old rundown 1940’s cottage. With a huge open floor plan, creative lighting, patterned accent panels, and a huge propped cantilever supported in part by a set of neat red columns, I think it’s a definite upgrade.

I also plan to use this one for the upcoming MOD-icon project I mentioned. I should have enough of it done to post something about it later this week. Stay tuned!
