Poster design for TypeTogether showing the typeface Coranto 2 by Gerard Unger. 44x69cm, 2-colour offset print on Munken Lynx 130g stock.
As Coranto 2 is primarily a newspaper face, my goal was to have a design suggestive of the mixed size and font-styles of newspapers in a playful and bold way. It was printed last month, but only just getting round to photographing it now.
Hey Milosz, thanks very much! It's always great to hear what you think (and glad you like the photographs! Can be quite difficult when it comes to large prints).
I just saw on the Op45 website that you wrote a book...that's really great, I bet it was a ton of fun. Having your name on a book is such a wonderful accomplishment and you should be very proud of it. I also noticed you're only 24, jaysus. I'm scared to see how good your work will be ten years from now :)
Joe - That's so nice of you to say, thank you! I cringe at a lot of the parts in the book now, but I'm still pleased with it (partially just for the amount of work it was!) 24 is a bit of sore point around here as it's my birthday next week - getting old! Ha. In ten years, I'll probably still be drawing the same lowercase 'a' or something. Thanks again for your continued support and encouragement, it means a lot.

Thanks a lot! Yeah it's a much brighter colour than what I usually work with, but I'm happy with how it came out.
