Poster design for TypeTogether showing the typeface Coranto 2 by Gerard Unger. 44x69cm, 2-colour offset print on Munken Lynx 130g stock.
As Coranto 2 is primarily a newspaper face, my goal was to have a design suggestive of the mixed size and font-styles of newspapers in a playful and bold way. It was printed last month, but only just getting round to photographing it now.

I love specimen posters! And those colors! Cool lockup too.
Thanks a lot! Yeah it's a much brighter colour than what I usually work with, but I'm happy with how it came out.
Very eye-catching, looks great Claire!
Now this pops!
Beautiful specimens, and the typeface looks great, too. Nice work Claire!
The precision of the paragraph alignment is orgasmically perfect.
great work indeed. love that ffi combination.
@Jared - Ha, thanks a lot! Glad you like it.
@Joe - Always appreciate your kind words, cheers! (and hope you didn't think someone else had stolen my profile..!)
@John - Cheers, very much appreciated, especially considering your poster work.
@James - Happy to hear it, thanks a lot!
@Seth - Thanks very much for your nice comments! It's definitely awesome to work with a great typeface.
@Sean - Ha, well noticed! (Loved the pic) It's always great to have someone appreciate good alignment.
@Paul - Cheers, glad you mentioned that - the goal was to show off some special characters in the typeface.
Nice composition, nice orange, nice letters, nice photo-shots. To conclude nice poster, Claire.
Hey Milosz, thanks very much! It's always great to hear what you think (and glad you like the photographs! Can be quite difficult when it comes to large prints).
I love your work Claire.
Thank you, Jan! That's very kind of you to say, much appreciated.
I just saw on the Op45 website that you wrote a book...that's really great, I bet it was a ton of fun. Having your name on a book is such a wonderful accomplishment and you should be very proud of it. I also noticed you're only 24, jaysus. I'm scared to see how good your work will be ten years from now :)
Tyler - Thanks, glad you like it!
Joe - That's so nice of you to say, thank you! I cringe at a lot of the parts in the book now, but I'm still pleased with it (partially just for the amount of work it was!) 24 is a bit of sore point around here as it's my birthday next week - getting old! Ha. In ten years, I'll probably still be drawing the same lowercase 'a' or something. Thanks again for your continued support and encouragement, it means a lot.
