Not to be confused with Oklahoma Llama, this is the concept for a future home of my collaborative work with 2 incredibly smart and talented friends, Tim and Micah. Yellow highlights indicate a current selection. Here is the full screenshot, constructive feedback is always welcome :)
Amber, I can agree w that. I just turned off the shading. I don't think it was a huge detractor, but it wasn't consistent with the feel of the rest of it.
1, 2, 3 and 4 will cycle automatically and slide through screenshots from the same project once you've selected one from the bottom menu. If you haven't selected one, it will automatically slide through the 1st screenshot of each project.
Pretty! I think maybe the lama would look a bit more defined if the outline went to black instead of brown. I'd have to see it to be sure, though. Also I'd go for a softer shadow under the lama, and a lighter yellow below "DESIGN + C"
Quite beautiful. Lots to look at without feeling overwhelming. Great overall use of type. I really like how each segment is structurally configured. I might revisit the logotype so it reads less "Uama" and more "Llama." I really love the illustration, but the shadow feels disjointed. It would feel more refined with a vector shadow applied to the Llama rather than the raster version currently in place.
Noah, thanks for the solid advice. When staring at something for hours on end its easy to become blind to stuff like that. I'll revisit it tomorrow and update the screenshot.
The design is clean, and the structure is outstanding. I'm not too sure whats going on with the colors - but thats because I'm weird about keeping it themed. The logo & name are FANTASTIC!

Awesome.. That lama looks very smart :)
If I have to give a feedback, I would say that I'm not a big fan of the font used in "details" & "tags"... kinda compact & disturbing :)

Ahmed, interesting, thanks for the feedback :)

I love the textures and color. I also would have to disagree with Ahmed—the type for details and tags is quirky, but appropriate. Love it!

Gorgeous! Love the logo, so much fun. great colors and I love the mixture of type. Fun idea for the header too.
Finding the white shading on the off tabs confusing. There's no shading on any of the other text on the site so I'm not sure what it's doing here.
Also what does the 1, 2, 3, 4 do?

I just posted a new version on flickr with some tweaks, thanks for all the helpful comments!
Oh and the 2nd tile in the reel is now the rollover (will fade to the title and blue bg). 1st tile shows current selection.

No worries, I'm keeping the yellow :)
And yes, very smart llama. This llama would probably be drafted to the llama version of dribbble.
