Internship at Compucraft - Amiens, France

My recent experience as a Front-end Developer and UX Designer during my internship at Compucraft Amiens from April 2023 to June 2023 allowed me to put my knowledge into practice. I had the opportunity to actively contribute to the development process by defining the application's features, designing the mockup, and creating an optimized user journey. I also participated in the application's design using Vue.js and in the development of various recurring Ionic components.

Compucraft had initiated the development of an online photo storage service. It already had a web version, and the goal was to make this service multi-platform by developing its mobile version, which was the focus of my internship.

Design Journey

I began my design journey by translating ideas onto paper sketches. Transitioning to Figma, I created a low-detail version, refining it collaboratively for feedback. This iterative process culminated in the development of a final, polished design.

Sizing and Components

As a UX designer, my work revolves around using reusable margins and components. By establishing consistent baseline margins, I craft a visual framework that ensures a harmonious layout across all pages. Simultaneously, I integrate reusable components such as headers and buttons to maintain a uniform aesthetic.

Prototyping

I'm prototyping directly on Figma to incorporate the user journey into my mockup. This allows for a quick visualization and adjustments to enhance the design process.
