As environmental problems become ever more pronounced, ever more people find themselves trying to minimize their impact. From this collective urge came the idea of creating an app that calculates one’s individual carbon footprint. It allows users to estimate their level of environmental damage and draw up a personal action plan to reduce it.

We developed a simple and intuitive interface that gives users a comprehensive overview of their environmental impact—the whole picture, not just some boring figures. The scanning function seems a very fitting and convenient solution to deliver information on any given product in a matter of seconds. The interface is designed in a way that requires no special knowledge or skills to interpret the data.
