Paint Color Matching App Concept for Vision OS

I've been thinking about how the technology and sensors of the Apple Vision Pro might be beneficial to daily life. Beyond the novelty of entertainment, how can it actually be useful? In this concept, I'm imagining the Vision Pro can sample colors from your environment and pair those colors with wall paint recommendations. In this case, from Pantone. (to be clear, this is not an official Pantone concept.)

I always struggle to choose the right paint color – and typically want paint colors that will pair well with the things I already own. On top of that, it'd be so helpful to be able to see it in the space.

For the next iteration of this, I'd love to explore how Vision OS could be used to combine sensor data (gathering light data from the environment, for example,) as well as local weather/time data to help you visualize how paint colors will look with local lighting changes. For example, how does the Pantone "Greenery" color look at night? When it's cloudy? How about in the morning, how will the space feel with this color, or that?

If someone wants to build this... let me know. Haha. This would save me so much time during renovations.

Anyway, would love to know any thoughts or feedback. Enjoy!
