Animated Illustration for a Metal Band
The client needed an animated illustration for his band's music video with all three characters playing their instruments.
First and foremost, we prioritized simplifying the work process by drawing a rough draft for every asset. This allowed us to imagine the result easier and prevent any destructive editing in the quality assurance phase. We then proceeded to draw the characters and animated them according to their personalities and how they would play their instruments. The environment was also a delight to create as we got to reinforce our existing skills and learn how to create more varied pixel environments.
This project allowed us to create two things that we normally would create as separate projects, animation, and illustration. It certainly pushed us to go beyond our limits.
