Matt and I have been working to revise the logo for rainboxx. Matt wanted a lighter box with a smaller rim. Much work needed to be done on the lighting as well as I wanted to add a bit of surface tension so that the water would cling to the sides of the box just a bit. Also, with the "ferngully" water bubbling so much, the water needed a bit of motion.
Whoa, that's amazing, I love it!
You did kind of what I said on Vimeo with the cloud, the little 1-3px border on top haha I like how that looks! Also, the motion in the water makes it look much better than the past version.
The texture is really nice as well!
Great job!! :D
Looking good, Not too sure about the vertical and diagonal brushed metal. I would prefer only vertical, but thats just a small detail. Great work, can't wait to see the final version!
the edge looks great. however, I do like the colour of the water of your previous one more… also, the previous one had less and more subtle bubbles, which looks nicer to me.
Still, an amazing icon!
Man, that is looking so hot. I want to dip my hand in the water and run my fingers along the edge. I really like the criss-cross brushed effect.
Maybe it's just me, but the perspective of the cloud cutout looks incorrect -- with the way the box is oriented, shouldn't I be able to see more of the inner-left edges of the cutout?
This is [excuse strange terminology] lickable! Fantastic Rogie. I really like the brushed metal pattern you're using here. It seems more legit to me and less fake.

Flip-flopping the dark/light metal and cleaning up that lip made a world of difference. Really nice work.

I like the bubbles, but on the top (the open part) it's hard to distinguish if its in the top or bottom (location of the bubble in the water)
Maybe try making the bubbles at the bottom darker than the ones at the top to simulate depth of the water/bubbles?

Aces. Complete aces. I love that you can see the bottom of the box through the water.

So awesome. Only thing I hate are the bubbles. Looks like a bucket of Sprite. :D

Blue Sprite.

And in the raindrop cutouts, the water/shadows should probably be darker.
