Voice Recorder / Player Render

Recently, I've found myself in a creative downslope where the urge to create has slowly but surely faded away, which let's be honest, kinda happens to us all at one point or another in our "creative" life.

So, as would any other modern tinkerer would do, I decided that maybe it's time I started learning something new, something that would bring my brain that much needed dose of creative serotonin.

***Also, it's been a loooong a** time since I wrote something more than two sentences long, so be gentle haha, since I might be a bit rusty at this sport.

Enter 3d Modelling

The "When and How?"

When I was a little kid, I remember going to visit my dad on the weekends, where I would spend hours upon hours gazing my eyes on all the camera and audio gear that he had back in the days, always saying to myself "wow it would be so cool if I could do one of my own on a computer".

Of course, at that age, computer games had a larger footprint on my little heart, which meant that the chances of me actually picking up a modelling software and learning how to use it would be slim to none.

The "Now"

Well, 20+ years have passed, and for some reason that thought has managed to stick around somewhere deep in the back of my head, since here I am, embarking on my first modelling project, which I'm hoping will lead to more in the near future.

The RP-01

First of all, let me say that naming stuff is kinda hard not gonna lie, from making it sound cool, to actually giving meaning in it's name, but yeah, here it is, the RP-01.

A slim and elegant, sdf modeled aluminium voice recorder / player, inspired by the visual language of the iconic Teenage Engineering line of products.

More to come!

If you made it to the end of this short interlude, all I can say is "thank you!", and hopefully you'll stick around for more to come.

Oh and don't forget, you can always follow me on insta where I will be posting more wip shots and other creative dopamine related stuff
