Really good looking!

This is tight!
one of the best hand drawn sketches of a typeface.
Thanks for the kind comments and likes everyone.
Great hand rendered type
This is great
Superb. Beautiful. Stellar. And as many other complimentary adjectives as one can think of. Love the dramatic curve, and the dot of the 'i' is genius. Can you tell that I love it? ;-)
LOL @Simon. Thanks. Once I get this into Illustrator I want to adjust that star shape a bit and make the non-'i' dots slightly smaller and the overall shape a little wonkier.
Great looking type Jeffrey! Have you thought about making the 'i' dot just a touch larger than the rest? Don't know how that would look, but just a thought...
Thanks Michael. Yeah, emphasizing the 'i' dot was what I meant in the previous comment. Glad you were thinking the same thing. :-)
This whole thing is so well balanced. The more I look at it, the better it gets!
Love seeing process work. Can't believe this is a 'rough'
brilliant! so nice to see your work at this stage of the design process. Look forward to seeing it evolve.
@Jacqui: Thanks! This is actually a stage two rough. I scanned a thumbnail sketch first, then enlarged and printed it so it could be traced and cleaned up for this version.
Very Nice! I'm working on a script too!
Looks great JD, awesome work!
Beautiful lettering! Such a nice flow and the last 'l' mirroring the lower curve of the 'C' is a great touch. This is a stunning series - I think I'm between this one and the 3rd one. Look forward to seeing where it goes!
Thanks James, Joe, and Claire. :-)
this is rad.
As great as your finished lettering work is, there is something magical about seeing something like this in pencil.
