    Is this made out of candy? Because it is delicious. I will say though, the ribbon looks very stiff and glassy — not sure what you are going for here, but anyway, its gorgeous.

    I agree with Rogie, the ribbon looks like hard candy, which could be what you're going for. To be truly realistic the point where the ribbon transitions from the lid to the box wouldn't wrap in as tightly as that. It would span the gap.

    Thanks! @Rogie and Phil, this started out as a much smaller, pixel-drawn icon. In the transition to 3D, I did go purposely for a big, chunky, stylized look rather than a realistic look. The result might not be for everyone, I suppose.

    @Paul, this is the icon we picked to represent software updates in Palm webOS.
