I recently had the opportunity to participate in Design for America an initiative by the Sunlight Foundation to help "make government data more accessible and comprehensible to the American public" by getting designers involved with redesigning current gov websites. My design process post is located here where you can see the before and after. I also wrote a post about it here.

I like the colors you chose for the design. The only thing I am not feeling is the tightness of the BENEFIT title in the banner. It feels like it needs more whitespace or negative space. I get a little claustrophobic just looking at it. Also the shadow around the circle crest makes it look a little blurry since the edges of the crest are grey. What would it look like without the shadow?

Other than that, it looks cool. 10000000 times better than their original site. :)

Ismael, Thanks so much for taking the time to add constructive feedback! I totally agree on the shadow, I should probably lighten it up a bit.... I was working with a really low res gif that I found online. I actually spent a ton of time on just getting that to look decent... but time and patience hopefully worked out. Thanks again :-)
