YOU ARE NOT FOR SALE - AN ANTI-TRAFFICKING PROPAGANDA

Disclaimer: I've already assigned the intellectual property rights of this poster to IOM Vietnam. Any usage of the posters (exhibiting, printing, selling,...) should be accepted at their discretion.

This poster is my participation in a design competition about Anti-trafficking organized by IOM Vietnam. In highlighting the message "YOU ARE NOT FOR SALE" - which is also the name of the aforementioned competition, I chose to illustrate two most common tricks that are used by traffickers to lure victims: Selling body parts.

Not much too describe as the poster itself is immediately obvious just from your first sight. Something else I would like to mention: the tears puddle (under the ring) and blood (under the box) refers to both emotional and physical pain a victim must go through. Tears can also be interpreted as the victim's regret, and blood can also imply the poor quality of illegal operation for body parts.

The color of the ring box also has a meaning. When the ring is sold - also decided, the seller will close the box and lock the ring inside the darkness of the box. This is an implication of a no-escape future of the victim after being sold.
