I did some research and found instructions on AIGA's website about sending an official take-down notice to the website host via protection under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. Under this protection, a web host is obligated to remove offending or copyright infringed material on any of its hosted websites.
Contacting the offending party directly may not result in much without secured legal council on your side, but putting pressure on their web host might do the trick.
