Looks really nice! I think the text works well without texture. You could try a small hard drop shadow on the text and image to lift it off the background a bit. Something like this http://cl.ly/8cUE. It doesn't need it though, and if it's not used anywhere else it would look weird.
Also man, great use of the Chicago star, I much prefer that one to the usual 5-pointer. Nice and subtle but I think the locals will appreciate that one ;)
Not bad. The bar is off. The stars are not centered correctly which gives the bar an uneven feel. Check the pixel count on that.
Personally I would give a bit more detail/treatment to the elements on top of that background just because it can come across slightly busy feeling to the eye.

Another portion into the "About Me" this is for what I'm calling "ID" with my name and Picture (attached).
Thoughts, suggestions?

I'm thinking there should be some textures on the text as well as the background. Just a thought.

I've been thinking about that, too. But I brought down the opacity on the type to pull some of the texture from the background.
But I'll explore that for sure.

Sounds good.

Looks good, but pick another pic, it's a bit washed out and doesn't feel like it goes with the rest. Agree with the texture comment.

Lol, I don't have pictures of myself... and that's just a placeholder...
Anyone up for a photo-shot :D

Nice! It feels a bit off balance. Is that intentional?

@Ray actually that was my bad "snap shot" taking — but as you click on the attached image that's where it's placed...

My only question, why the dotted stroke under the photo? It seems out of place to me. I like the color and textures.

@Rich The reason behind that is because I'm using that as a "shadow"

like on there... I don't know if that will stick there... but that's where that was coming.

@Jonathan Great suggestion! Thanks, it's not too drastic of a change so I'll give it a go ;)

@Josh Not much I can do there for that unfortunately... Let's talk about the things I can change! :D
@Jerett I'll double check on that stuff, and see if I can add more detail :D Thanks broski!
