    Starting with what Gerardo made (http://drbl.in/21376) This is my take on what the twitter app icon should have looked like. It would make sense to use the existing logo icon along with the beautiful Tweetie 2 icon. What do you think?

    While I agree with @maxvoltar article - http://maxvoltar.com/archive/about-an-icon - regarding the brand reasons for their icon choice, I think there's a happy medium where twitter could of merged the two identities and strayed away from creating 'another blue icon'.

    While nothing ground breaking - here is one example of how twitter could of kept the calm grey gradient icon of Tweetie while staying true to brand & introducing their established colors and icon.

    Because I've been getting so many requests, I've decided I'd go ahead and produce a free icon for all of you to swap out on your iphones. Making a 57x57px and 114x114px for version for the retina display as well :)
