Really nice. More techy than your usual icons.
Great start :) Maybe i would have done the arrows more wide.
Good work on the icon Asher, what app is it for?
Looks good! Not a fan of the beveling on the edges though.
i never thought purple could look so good!!
Great icon!, I feel that the dotted pattern belongs in the oceans tho.
Man, I can't stop looking at this icon. I have visited it like 6 times today alone. Beautiful!
love the use of colors
Wicked! Love that it's different than the usual blue. You got a thing for different and definitely know how to pull it off!
I love this, primarily because I think it's pretty. Great visual style (even though I agree with Louis about the edges)
However, the metaphor seems a little strange. It feels like you're mixing radar with a compass needle, using the the needles almost like a sweeping line of a radar.
Oh that's gorgeous. The sparkles, shine effect and high contrast are all winners.
@AndyTheJoker I'll see if increase in the width of the needle improves the overall look.
@Umar Can't tell that before the app is released :)
@Louis I reduced the bevel effect and came up with this: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/7030224/Preview3.jpg
@Mikael Eidenberg I tried using the pattern on the ocean but it reduced the cleanliness of the icon.
@Josh Bryant Actually, I am either going to use the radar or the needle, while keeping the background same. The combination of two was just an experiment.
Perfect attention to detail, love it :)
Great Asher :D
Stunning Asher! Great choice in colors as well :)
So sharp! Nice work.
Did NOONE think of a Pokèball when they saw the centre of this thing? :)
