Plantify - a plant collection & encyclopedia

💭 The Idea

I've been working on a flat design that promotes clean UI with warm, friendly colors. And we all know there's nothing sexier than plants!

The idea is having both a plant encyclopedia, as well as a virtual plant collection with reminders for when to water your plants.

🎨 Color Palette

For the color palette, I chose 2 colors - green and orange. I wanted the palette to underline the plant illustrations, therefore all the colors are taken directly from the illustration themselves.

That creates a very unified feeling throughout the whole app.

✏️Typography

A pretty font pairing makes for a pleasant user experience! I've been waiting to use this font combination for a long time and with the plant app, I finally found the right place.

Fonts used are Quincy CF and Athletics.
