Birthyay!- A birthday reminder app

Quite a number of us used to or still make use of Facebook, I for one deserted it a long time ago. But there's this really cool thing about Facebook, it ensures that users do not forget a connection's birthday with its reminders.

What other app does this? Snapchat! Snapchat notifies users when it's someone's birthday as well. Now, what flaws do these apps have or what needs fine-tuning?

• These apps only remind me about birthdays on the exact date.

• What happens in a case whereby the celebrant isn't on Facebook nor Snapchat, how does a user get reminded?

• There is no option for users to manually set reminders for these birthdays themselves.

Well, this is where Birthyay comes in, I designed the homepage of this app.

Birthyay is a mobile app that helps users keep track of birthdays. Users get to input and see the birthdate, name and age of the celebrant, a button is also provided for the user to text the celebrant via WhatsApp. Users also get to check a box to receive reminders or not.
