Icon and detail ideas for a web app (with tailored iPhone interface) I'm designing with a friend. A labour of love, but so far a lot of fun to design for.

No doubt the colours will change, as I'm keen to develop more of a unique palette and avoid it becoming too "cartoony".

Really love the inset default icon. Nicely done.

Great treatment on those icons. I like how they look like physical objects that can be placed in individual molds. Colors work well against the gray (good contrast).

Dig the molds. Picturing the love being poured into a heart to make something a favorite. 3-Delicious.

Cheers guys, it's good to hear the 'hollowed out' effect I was going for with the off-state of the icons seems to be working. I might try using this across the site, at least on any on/off toggle elements.
