Daily Newspaper Single Panel Cartoon/Comic

This is one of many single panel cartoon comic that we supply to our client that needs daily editorial illustration created in their media. The brief provided to us for this cartoon was:

"An 11th-century Norman Castle is surrounded by a moat. In the moat, a few battering rams and other siege equipment are half-submerged in the water, having failed to conquer the castle."

The client also mentioned that they want to see unfinished color style as part of the illustration deliverables. The client primary references are Gary Larson, Peanuts and The New Yorker, but they gave us a freedom to infuse our own stylistic twist. They are looking for creativity, consistency, and quality for every pieces of the single panel cartoon/comic strip.

After receiving the brief, we start the creative process and able to produce this single panel cartoon/comic strip within 1 hour to them. Our studio actually able to produce more than 10 pieces of this kind illustrations every day.
