Lesotho Drummer Animation

A fun project for Brand New Vixion from Lesotho.

With the illustrations we received I made a path animation of the drummer in 3 posed. 2 poses of both hands drumming & a rest pose between the other, I left the timing linear.

Then I pre-comped the animated poses, time-remapped the comp and parented it to the Drum Rig Slider in a above adjustment layer.

In the adjustment layer I used the slider rig to make the drummer drum in rhythm with the music and adjusted the graph of the keyframes. Then I used a loopOut("pingpong") to repeat the drumming action through out the video.
