Still deliberating on whether or not the modified "Y" is too much or if the degree mark at the end is needed either. Feels like there's too many themes going on. Thoughts?
The thing is that prism will change depending on the product that is being used. So it might be a square, or a polygon or whatever depending on what makes sense.
But I've gotten a lot more people pick the top one so I'll probably go with that. It should work in any situation.
Updated ideas based on feedback from varick, russel and crystal. I played around with simplifying the letterforms, adjusting the prism and tried another prism shape for comparison.
Now I'm stuck on which direction to go with, I like the simplicity of the top two but think the bottom two have more character.

I like the top two. The "Y" feels balanced and kinda mimics the angles in the icon. I like the degree mark as well, but depends on the relevance.

I'm with Russel--the left angle of the bottom triangle (on the mark) and the angle of the descender on the "y" are competing in the bottom two.
